Of all the vegetables in the garden one of the simplest is green beans. Whether canned, frozen, or fresh they are almost never served anyway besides boiled and topped with butter and salt. Such an amazing stand alone vegetable. That is why we are adding nothing besides a touch of butter to these beans! This puree blends up easy for little one and lasts in the freezer for 3 months!
For toddlers, I would serve these well boiled and extremely soft, as a finger food! My son will eat an entire bowl of green beans cooked and slightly cooled with just salt. I place them on the table and he snacks on them like they are french fries! Try this with your 18 months-2 year olds! Between you, me, and the internet, I feel like a rock star every time he goes to town on a bowl of green vegetables, and I bet you will too!
